 Verified We came with two young kids- 5yo and 2yo and the hike was manageable for my older one. It was very informative and we liked that we could touch the different plants, ferns. lichens and moss. Noemie was very knowledgeable!

 Verified Really enjoyed or time with Noémie. She is very knowledgeable about all of the flora and fauna and explains what a unique ecosystem we are seeing. The trip can be accommodated to skill level. Moderate with some stairs and root scrambling. Wear sturdy shoes.

 Verified Noemi's tour was truly exceptional. She is extremely knowledgeable, while also being sensitive to environmental issues and indigenous heritage. The tour was well-rounded, including plants, rocks, mosses, lichen, animals, and history, and experiential like picking berries. She is also very personable and friendly, which made the tour even more fun. We'll be booking in for other tours of hers when we're back in the area.  Verified A definite must and better than what we had expected in terms of how much knowledge and information Noémie shared with us. We definitely felt like we left knowing a lot more about the forest, trees, plants and animals that call it home.  Verified A great tour; Noémie explained the area's native plants and wildlife in a really interesting way. It was also in a lovely location - if it's a nice day, I would definitely recommend making time to go for a swim in the river after the tour.

This was really excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and really brought the forest to life with her explanations. Seeing the first nation petroglyphs a real highlight for me. Such a wonderful tour! We only had 1 full day on the island and this was the perfect tour. Noemi took us to see some amazing caves, waterfalls and Rainforests. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience very personal and comfortable! 100% recommend!

I had the best time with my complete North Island tour with Noemie! We explored hidden gems like the ’emerald’ pools in Oyster River and Huson Caves, which were absolute highlights. Noemie’s knowledge of local flora (and tasting berries along the way) was an such a delight!Also, she’s just super to hang-out with and loves to have a chat while we were on tour. I highly recommend the tour for anyone looking to properly explore Vancouver island 😀

A fantastic day trip that included ocean and rainforest and some of the biggest trees I’ve ever seen! Noemie has excellent knowledge of trees, flora and fauna and is very respectful of First Nation traditions and history. Recommended!

We loved our tour with Noémie! Our group consisted of 7 people (ages 11-64) and we were all able to enjoy the walk through nature. Noémie was very engaging and offered lots of fun facts along the way! This old growth forest was beautiful and offered quite a bit of protection from the rain (which was nice). I would definitely recommend this outing if you are in the area!
